It is submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner as also the municipality that the Pension Payment Order has been issued. That the family pension has been disbursed.

With regard to the arrears and the payment of the gratuity, it is submitted by the learned advocate for the municipality that the Government has requested that some time may be given for disbursement of the same.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Chairperson of the Bhatpara Municipality as also the Joint Secretary to the Government of West Bengal, Department of Urban

Development and Municipal Affairs to settle the dues of the petitioner in terms of the Pension Payment Order. The arrears of family pension and the entire gratuity shall be disbursed mandatorily within a period of four months from the date of communication of this order.

Such time period has been fixed on the prayer of the learned advocate for the State respondents as also the learned advocate for the municipality who are represented before this court and pray for some extra time to liquidate the payment.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
