The petitioner is aggrieved by a bill amounting to Rs.1,04,908.98/-. The billing dispute is normally decided by the Regional Grievance Redressal Office.

2. However, learned advocate for the CESC Limited submits that the petitioner has already paid more than 50% of the amount, that is, approximately Rs.57,000/- and has undertaken before the authority to pay the remaining in 12 equal monthly instalments.

Under such circumstances, the grievance of the petitioner does not survive. The petitioner is granted liberty to pay the remaining amount in 12 equal monthly instalments. The Commercial Department, Howrah Regional Office shall raise a bill indicating the manner and mode of payment by mentioning the date and amount of each instalment. The petitioner will continue to pay such instalments as may be mentioned by the CESC authorities. In case of default, liberty is

granted to the CESC Limited to take appropriate steps.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. 5.
