Mr. Manas Kumar Das Mr. Aritra Kr. Thokdar Mr. Probal Das ....for the petitioner Ms. Sayanti Santra Mr. Sarthak Mondal ....for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the husband of the alleged victim. The marriage took place 10 years ago. Charge sheet has been submitted. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the statements of the victim and the other witnesses and the injury report. In the injury report, the petitioner's name has been categorically mentioned. It appears from the injury report that the victim suffered fracture of transverse of L2 and L3 vertebra at the right side.

Considering the serious nature of allegations and the incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
