Ms. Sabita Khutia (Bhunya) ...for the petitioner Ms. Mitali Mukherjee ...for the State The petitioner is the wife of a deceased teacher. Her grievance is that she is not getting family pension and gratuity in the revised rate according to ROPA 2009. She is getting the family pension and has received the gratuity in terms of earlier ROPA rules. I direct the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance to hold a meeting with the District Inspector of Schools and with the petitioner and if necessary with the school where the petitioner's husband was working, within a period of eight weeks from date. The meeting may be held more than once but not more than thrice. After the last meeting or if only one meeting will be held, then after the said meeting, the reasoned and speaking order is to be passed by two weeks from the date of the meeting and it is to be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.

With the above observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
