For the State It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners are in possession of a shop room which is admittedly constructed on Government land. The National Highways Authority of India is trying to take possession of the said land for extension of National Highway No. 32, but no compensation has been offered to the petitioners for the same. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been informed by the respondent Authority that in the event the petitioners have occupied Government land, they are not entitled to any compensation for the same. The petitioners submitted a representation before the concerned Authority on 15th February, 2022 which is yet to be disposed of. The petitioners pray for direction

upon the Authority to consider the representation at the earliest.

Having considered the submission made on behalf of the parties and material on record, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 7th respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 15th February, 2022 within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order, after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties including the petitioners, in accordance with law.

W.P.A. 3305 of 2022 is thus disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
