It has been submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the Cooperative Election Commission that the nominated Board has already taken charge on 31st January, 2024. The Board is taking steps for conducting the election.

It has been submitted that the election will be over within 110 days.

The nominated Board is directed to assist the Cooperative Election Commission for holding the

election in a transparent, free and fair manner. The nominated Board is restrained from taking any policy decision or decide any important issues till the Board of Directors assume charge.

The election shall positively be concluded within the time limit as has been mentioned in the instruction forwarded by the State Election Commission (110 days). The instruction forwarded by the State Election Commission is retains with the records.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
