It appears from the documents annexed to the writ petition that the Deputy Director Panchayats & Rural Development by a communication dated 31st October, 2019 addressed to the Joint Secretary to the Department of Panchayats & Rural Development (PRI Cell) recommended the proposal for appointment of the petitioner on compassionate ground against serial No. 1273.

The petitioner alleges that the appointment has not been given to the petitioner till date.

It appears that the Deputy Director has already forwarded the recommendation proposal to the Joint Secretary way back on 31st October, 2019. It is the duty of the Joint Secretary to take steps for issuing

appointment letter in favour of the petitioner strictly in accordance with the recommendation proposal maintaining the serial, as and when his turn comes. The writ petition stands disposed of.
