Mr. Subhrangsu Panda ... for the petitioner Mr. Biswabrata Basu Mallick Mr. Sanjib Das ... for the State This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in considering his prayer for transfer under Rule 4(1)(a) of the West Bengal School Service Commission (General Transfer, Transfer on Special Ground and Reallocation) Rules, 2015.

It is made clear from the record that the petitioner has made an application for general transfer on special ground and thereafter made several applications. But no steps has yet been taken by the end of the authority concerned.

I have heard learned Counsel for the appearing parties and perused the materials on record.

In light of the same, I direct the Commissioner of School Education, to consider the application of the petitioner and thereafter pass a reasoned order after

granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order. The reasoned order is to be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks thereafter.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition is called for, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
