Matter is heard in presence of learned advocates representing the parties.

One writing of the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Purba Bardhaman dated 7th April, 2025 is placed before this Court and same is also taken on record. On perusal of the writing dated 7th April, 2025, it appears that after transfer of the petitioner from Dhatrigram Balika Vidyalaya to Tribeni Girls' High School on 22nd March, 2022, provident fund account statement was also transferred to the present school of the petitioner. It is also indicated in the said writing dated 7th April, 2025 that previous school authority made an application dated 18th February, 2025 for giving effect to benefits under ROPA-2019 and to countersign the original service book of the petitioner and in

consideration of same, District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Purba Bardhaman being respondent no.5 sent the file to the Deputy Director of Accounts, Purba Bardhaman for vetting on 11th March, 2025.

In view of the steps taken by the previous school authority and the concerned State respondents, respondent no.5 is directed to countersign the service book of the petitioner on compliance of necessary formalities by four (4) weeks from date and shall forward the same to Tribeni Girls High School. No direction is required to be given relating to transmission of provident fund account of the petitioner since same has already reached the present school of the petitioner. Hence, writ petition stands disposed of.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to raise her grievance with regard to sanction of leave availed by her during her service in Dhatrigram Balika Vidyalaya, if same is found to be admissible in terms of relevant leave rules.

Copy of the updated service book, which is filed on behalf of the school authority, is also taken on record. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
