The petitioner complains that her daughter Sania Parvin has gone missing since 26th January, 2023. The Inspector-in-Charge, Barasat Police Station has filed a report and the same is taken on record. It appears from the report that on 10th January, 2023 an email was received by the Barasat Police Station from the Session Judge Gurdaspur, Punjab that the petitioner's daughter Sania Parvin got married to one Akash Kumar, son of Deepak Kumar residing at Ward No.5, Shiv Mandir, Ludhiana Mohalla, Dhariwal, Tehsil and District Gurdaspur.

It is also submitted that appropriate protection has been sought from the Barasat Police by the said Sania Parvin, against the petitioner and her husband Abdur Rajjak. The application filed before the Session Judge Gurdaspur, Punjab has been annexed to the report of the Barasat Police Station.

In view of the above, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition.

Barasat Police shall extend all protection to the petitioner's daughter namely Sania Parvin in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
