Sri Manoj Kumar Saha Ms. Devi Priya Mitra .. for the petitioner Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of Complaint Case No.949 of 2019 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Baruipur, South 24 Parganas, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite party.

The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case.

This court is informed that the case is pending since 2019 and witness action is yet to commence.

In view of the above, the learned trial court is directed to take the proceeding to its logical conclusion within one year from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

CRR 722 of 2025 is accordingly disposed of.
