Petitioner is in custody for more than seven years. He prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. We have considered the materials on record. He was declared a proclaimed offender. Statements of witnesses show he was present at the place of occurrence and assisted the principal offenders.

In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and conduct of the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
