The petitioner is aggrieved by the alleged inaction on the part of Bidhannagar (North) Police Station in respect of an FIR No. 164 of 2021 dated 1st August, 2021.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the charge-sheet is most likely to be submitted in the matter.

It appears from the records that there is a counter FIR by the private respondent against the petitioner being FIR No. 165 of 2021 dated 1st August, 2021 under Sections 341/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is ordered that investigation into the aforesaid FIRs be completed, if not already completed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from date.

Let copies of the final reports in the aforesaid two FIRs be made available to the complainants and/or their legal heirs.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
