Hossain Ms. Keya Sutradhar Mr. Kazi Ardan Ali Mr. Mayukh Saha ...for the petitioner Mr. Ayan Banerjee Mr. Amritlal Chattterjee ...for the State The petitioner alleges that in spite of receipt of the representation dated 17th January, 2025 requesting the authorities to pay compensation to the petitioner for acquisition of the lands of the petitioner being RS Dag Nos. 15347 and 15424, within Mouza Baruipur, under Police Station Baruipur, in the District of South 24 Parganas, no decision on such representation has been communicated to the petitioner till date.

Mr. Banerjee, learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that a decision on such representation shall be communicated to the petitioner within a time limit as may be fixed by this Court.

Without entering into the merits of the claim made in the representation dated 17th January, 2025, WPA 3585 of 2025, stands disposed of by directing the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Land Acquisition Department, being the fourth respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17th January, 2025 and to dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order after giving an opportunity of

hearing to the petitioner and communicate the reasoned order to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a server copy of this order along with a copy of the representation dated 17th January, 2025.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
