The State is represented.

The petitioner applied for felling trees with the authorities.

The last of such applications is dated October 5, 2020.

The authorities are yet to be decided the same. In such circumstances, the respondent no. 2 will consider and decide the application for grant of permission for felling trees made by the petitioner in accordance with law.

The respondent no. 2 will afford a reasonable opportunity of hearing of the petitioner.

The

respondent no. 2 is at liberty to such other parties and consult such document as he deemed appropriate.

He will pass a reasoned order which he will communicate to the parties he heard forthwith thereafter.

It is expected that the respondent no. 2 complies with this order within six weeks from the date of communication of this order to him.

WPA 4114 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.
