Guhathakurta ... for the petitioner Mr. Susovan Sengupta Mr. Subir Pal ... for the State Ms. Senjuti Sengupta ... for the respondent no. 4 It is found in so many matters before me that a large number of employers are not paying the gratuity to their retired employees. One of such employer is before me today in the form of the respondent no. 4. Ms. Sengupta, the learned advocate for the respondent no. 4, has submitted that they have already paid the amount directly to the workman which includes the principal amount along with interest and compound interest. The amount has been paid by two cheques drawn on Axis Bank Limited bearing nos. 149788 and 149790 both dated 4th March, 2021. Copies of such cheques have been handed over to me which are kept on record.

As the amount has been paid with interest including compound interest, this matter is disposed of as there is no further thing to be adjudicated in this matter.

In the order dated 3rd March, 2021 the name of Ms. Senjuti Sengupta appeared as 'for the petitioner' which is not correct. Some other lawyer appeared for

the petitioner on that day and Ms. Sengupta appeared for the respondent no. 4.

These corrections are not required to be made in the order dated 3rd March, 2021, but this correction will be treated as a part of the order dated 3rd March, 2021 as to the appearance of the learned advocates. (Abhijit Gangopadhyay, J.)
