Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that cognizable offence has been committed at the behest of the private respondents and in spite of informing the police authorities, no action has been taken.

I find that the information was furnished with the Superintendent of Police, Murshidabad. The petitioner is directed to approach the Officer-inCharge, Raninagar Police Station with the same complaint which was addressed to the Superintendent of Police, Murshidabad.

Mr. Banerjee, learned AGP appearing for the State will send necessary instructions to the Officer-in-Charge, Raninagar Police Station for taking appropriate steps in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 3578 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
