The petitioner claims to have working on contract as a Data Entry Operator in the office of the District Magistrate at Paschim Medinipur.

Counsel for the petitioner claims that her client was entered in the permanent Pay Roll of the District Magistrate Office at Paschim Medinipur and hence her client is entitled to permanent absorption in the said post.

This Court is of the view that the matter pertains to service under the State and falls within the jurisdiction of the State Administrative Tribunal. Hence, the instant writ application shall stand dismissed with liberty reserved to the petitioner to approach before the State Administrative Tribunal on the selfsame cause of action.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
