Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that subject-matter of the case involves recovery of 80 kgs. of ganja from the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody for a period of eight months and charges have already been framed. As such, further detention of the petitioner is unwarranted. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that huge quantity of contraband has been recovered.

I have taken into account the materials appearing in the case diary and I am of the opinion that provision of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted. As such, at this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 323 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
