The petitioner and her husband being the parents of the respondent no.4 complained of being thrown away of their residence which is disputed by the learned advocate appearing for the respondent nos. 4 and 5 who submits that if the parents stay at the demarcated portion in the residence, they have no issues or objections in respect of the same. Accordingly, the petitioner and her husband would inform 24 hours ahead to the Officer-inCharge, Parnashree Police Station who would depute a lady police personnel for accompanying the petitioner and her husband for smooth entry at the premises. For a period of 15 days, every alternate day, the concerned police officer will assess whether the petitioner and her husband are subjected to any harassment at the demarcated portion where they are residing.

In the meantime, the petitioner will approach the appropriate authority under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. In case any directions are passed by the Tribunal or the appropriate authority, the police authorities would respect, obey and implement the said order.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 3612 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
