Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Trial has considerably progressed and only five witnesses are yet to be examined. In view of the aforesaid materials on record and as trial is at a matured stage, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is thus rejected.

Trial court is directed to conduct the trial as expeditiously as possible and conclude the same at an early date preferably within six months from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
