Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the departmental proceedings was initiated against the petitioner, where the petitioner was put under suspension. On the basis of the representation of the petitioner, the suspension order was withdrawn and the petitioner was allowed to resume duty at a different location. The petitioner was on leave at the time of inquiry. There was no role of the petitioner in the alleged incident.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the contents in the case diary. He submits that, the petitioner was 'Depot-in-charge' of the Food Corporation of India where the raid occurred. The police found various anomalies. The investigations are in progress. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the fact that the departmental proceedings were not withdrawn despite

the representation made by the petitioner, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 975 of 2022 is dismissed.
