Learned advocate for the NCB submits a report and opposes the prayer for bail.

I have taken into account the quantum of seizure made by the investigating agency which is 54.210 kg of ganja.

The background of the case also reflects that different persons were available in a train proceeding towards Bardhaman from Dinhata.

Having considered the totality of the circumstances, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

However, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the seizure list witnesses is over.

Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 324 of 2026 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Report submitted be kept with the record.
