Despite service none appears on behalf of any of the respondents.

The petitioner alleges inaction on the part of the Officer-in-Charge, Chanditolla Police Station. It is alleged that the respondent nos. 5 and 6 have tried to obstruct the construction of the petitioner and have been creating disturbance. It is the specific case of the petitioner, that no civil suit is pending between the parties.

It appears that the petitioner had approached the concerned police station by filing a compliant which is annexure P-7 to the writ petition.

The writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Officer-in-Charge, Chanditolla Police Station to dispose of the complaint of the petitioner in accordance with law, upon hearing the petitioner as also the respondent nos. 5 and 6.

The other prayers of the petitioner for police assistance to complete the construction cannot be allowed by this court at this stage.

If there is any interference with the petitioner's right, title and interest in respect of the property in question, the remedy of the petitioner will be before the appropriate forum.

However, the police authorities will ensure that no physical harm is caused to the petitioner and law and order is maintained.

This court has not gone into the merits of the complaint lodged by the petitioner and the same shall be decided by the investigating agency. The writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
