He made an application in the prescribed form before the Director of Public Instruction, West Bengal for his transfer on special ground.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that though the said application was made in the month of October 2021, till date the same has not been considered.

In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Director of Public Instruction, West Bengal to consider the said representation in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order by passing a reasoned order.

The Director of Public Instruction, West Bengal shall hear the petitioner and the college authority, if necessary.

Accordingly, WPA 3586 of 2024 is disposed of. (Kausik Chanda, J.)
