The petitioner complains that in spite of informing the police authorities, no action has been taken although the petitioner being favoured with a decree passed by the civil court. Additionally it has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is unable to cultivate his land as there has been continuous interference by the private respondents and on informing the police authorities, no action has been taken.

I find that last of the representation which was made before the police authorities is dated 10.05.2023. State has submitted a report which reflects that on 15.05.2023, proceedings under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure were drawn up against the private respondents.

Having regard to the nature of the prayer advanced before this Court and the steps taken by

the police authorities at the relevant point of time, I am of the view that the police authorities have taken steps. Since more than one and a half years have passed, petitioner, if he is confronted with fresh inconveniences, will approach the police authorities. The police authorities under such circumstances will render assistance in accordance with law.

Police authorities would additionally ensure that no breach of the peace or tranquility takes place at the locale and/or any untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 3581 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
