The petitioner alleges police inaction by the Diamond Harbour Police Station FIR No. 588 of 2022 dated 28th November, 2022 under Sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code.

The private respondent no. 5 is represented and submits that he has responded to notices under Section 41A of the Cr. P. C. on two occasions.

In that view of the matter, Diamond Harbour Police is directed to conclude investigation into the FIR and submit final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of one month from date.

WPA No. 3491 of 2023 stands disposed of.
