The petitioner has applied for intradistrict transfer from Purba Burdwan to Bankura on medical condition of her husband who is 80% physically challenged and also has severe heart condition. She claimed that the husband has undergone heart surgery twice.

In those circumstances, the DPSC, Purba Burdwan shall ascertain the medical condition of the petitioner's husband from the CMOH, Purba Burdwan and forward a recommendation and report based thereon to the WBBPE.

Based on the report of the DPSC, the Board shall consider the petitioner's application for transfer and take an appropriate decision, within a period of 8 weeks from date.

Let the aforesaid process be conducted by the parties offline.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

7.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
