1. Wilful and deliberate violation of this Court's order dated 23rd December, 2024 passed in WPA 29786 of 2024 has been alleged in the instant contempt application by the applicant / writ petitioner.

2. A compliance report has been submitted on behalf of the alleged contemnor which is taken on record.

3. The alleged contemnor is represented by Ms. Ganguly. According to her submissions, after the date of the order of this Court dated 23rd December, 2024 as above, no further action has been taken by the alleged contemnor in due compliance with the Court's order as above.

In support of her submission, she had relied on the compliance

report submitted by the Secretary, State Transport Authority, West Bengal dated 23rd May, 2025.

4. As to the fact that since after the date of the order of the Court there has not been any step further taken by the alleged contemnor in connection with the present matter, there is no contradictory material available on record.

5. Considering the same and in pursuance of the compliance report dated May 23, 2025 submitted on behalf of the alleged contemnor, I do not find the allegation of wilful and deliberate violation of the Court's order, as stated by the applicant / writ petitioner in the instant contempt application, is at all substantiated. Hence, the contempt application is found liable to be dismissed.

6. For the reasons as above, the contempt application being CPAN 288 of 2025 is dismissed.
