Meherul Khan ..... petitioner Mr. Tapodip Gupta ... for the petitioner Mr. Sanjoy Bardhan Ms. Baishakhi Chatterjee ... for the State We have considered the materials on record. Statements of the witnesses and other documents prima facie show recovery of 1 kg. heroin from the joint possession of the petitioner and co-accuseds. In view of the aforesaid circumstances and statutory restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
