The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at Kaigram F. P. School, under Monteswar-II Circle of Purba Bardhaman District Primary School Council. He is praying transfer to any school under the said council on the ground that he is a surplus teacher of his present school.

The petitioner is permitted to apply before the Chairman of the said council, the respondent no. 7 herein praying such transfer only on the ground that he is a surplus teacher of his present school, if such a prayer is made, the said respondent shall consider the same and shall take forward steps in accordance with law.

W.P.A. 3656 of 2025 is thus disposed of without any order as to costs.
