Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not enjoying any electricity connection from the distribution company and prays for a direction upon the respondent authorities to supply a loop domestic connection. The petitioner is agreeable to apply for a fresh application to the distribution company and upon inspection, the distribution company shall supply a loop meter to the petitioner, subject to payment of all necessary costs and complying with other formalities by the petitioner.
Learned counsel appearing for the respondent authorities submit that if the petitioner submits a fresh application before the distribution company for a loop meter, the distribution company will make an inspection in the said premises and if all necessary formalities including all the requisite payments are made and
a visible and accessible supply route is provided by the petitioner, the distribution company shall supply a loop meter in accordance with law.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
If an application is made by the petitioner before the distribution company, the distribution company shall make an inspection and if all visible and accessible supply route is provided by the petitioner and all formalities and requisite payments are made by the petitioner, the distribution company will supply a loop meter to the petitioner in accordance with law.
It is needless to mention that the supply of electricity will be made by the distribution company within one month from the date of compliance of all necessary formalities by the petitioner.
With the above observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
All parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
