1. By way of this public interest litigation the petitioners allege that the wooden bridge has been illegally constructed in the area in question.

2. Written instruction has been given to the learned advocate appearing for the State from which it has been seen that field enquiry was conducted pursuant to the complaint given by the petitioner. It has been found permission has been given by PRI bodies of both Purba Medinipur and Paschim Medinipur district for construction of the said bridge.

3. Therefore, there is nothing illegal about the construction of the said bridge.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed.
