Accordingly, this matter is dismissed for default and connected applications, if any, are also dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. The learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 12th Court at Calcutta is directed to execute the sentence imposed in connection with G.R. Case No.827 of 1993 in accordance with law.

The department concerned is directed to communicate the order passed in Court today to the Court below. The department shall ensure that acknowledgement of receipt of their communication is received.
