We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses implicate the petitioners as members of the group who assaulted the victim resulting in grievous injury and death. It is contended petitioners have been falsely implicated due to political rivalry. In view of gravity of the offence and statements implicating the petitioners in the crime, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to them.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners stands rejected.
