Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. There are ample evidence connecting the petitioner with the murder. Incriminating articles i.e. a gold ring belonging to the victim and firearms were recovered from the petitioner. Offences, if proved, would attract mandatory life imprisonment. 3.

Keeping in mind the aforesaid incriminating materials and as trial is in progress, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. (Gaurang Kanth, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
