Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show petitioner participated in the assault. As a result, victim lost vision in one eye.

In view of prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the crime and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
