23.03.2021 rc/ct.no.10 Item No.20 WPA No. 4233 of 2021 Mr. Animesh Paul Mr. Fatima Hassan Mr. Shalomi Basu ...for the Petitioner Mr. Saurav Chaudhuri ...for the WBSEDCL The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the refusal of the respondent authorities to dismantle and reerection of the electricity poll on the petitioner's land. Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent Corporation submits that there is no objection in effecting such dismantling and re-erection of the electricity pole but the private respondent and locals have created an obstruction, hindrances when the personnel of the respondent authorities had visited the subject site.

In view of the fact that the respondent authorities are ready and willing to carry out the necessary dismantle and re-erection of the electricity pole I am of the view that the Inspector-in-Charge, Uluberia Police Station, Howrah being the respondent no. 3 is directed to provide necessary police assistance upon payment of necessary cost by the petitioner to the respondent authorities in carrying out such dismantle and re-erection of the electricity pole at the site of the petitioner.

It is expected that the entire exercise will be completed within four weeks from the date upon compliance with all statutory formalities by the petitioner.

With the aforesaid directions WPA No. 4233 of 2021 is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. (Ravi Krishan Kapur,J)
