The said case was initiated as Tamluk P. S. Case No. 353 of dated 04-07-2019 under Sections 498A/406/384/307/506(2)/34/120B IPC and Section 4 of the D. P. Act.

The Investigating Agency on conclusion of investigation submitted chargesheet under the relevant of provisions of law. The case was committed to the court of sessions and subsequently

charges were framed by the learned sessions court in S. C. No. 91 of 2021 under Sections 498A/34, 406/34, 307/34, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the D. P. Act. Earlier to the framing of the charges, there has been a compromise between the parties. The learned sessions court in seisin of the matter is directed to record the evidence of the de facto complainant namely, Smt. Paramita Mahapatra and in case it is found that she is not interested to pursue the present criminal case, the learned trial court would then fix continuous dates for the rest of the witnesses and arrive at its independent finding within a period of two months from the date of the communication of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 533 of 2023 along with the application being CRAN 1 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J.]
