This Court finds that the dispute between the petitioners and certain private respondents is purely civil in nature. There is also a civil suit being T.A. 37 of 1997, now pending before the learned 3rd Civil Judge (Sr. Division) at Alipore in this regard. In those circumstances, the instant writ petition shall stand dismissed with costs assessed at Rs. 8,500/- payable by the petitioner to Bansdroni Police Station.

The report of the Bansdroni Police Station dated 01.03.2023 be kept with the record.
