Petitioner is in custody since 6th January, 2023. Coaccused is on bail. He prays for bail. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. She submits petitioner was identified in course of T. I. Parade examination.

We have considered the materials on record. T. I. Parade of co-accused was held six months after his arrest. Under such circumstances, he has been enlarged on bail. Petitioner was identified in course of T. I. Parade examination which was held within a month of his arrest. He does not stand on the same footing with the co-accused who has been enlarged on bail. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
