From the report it appears that six witnesses have been examined out of 21 witnesses as yet by the trial Court.

Nobody appears on behalf of the petitioner though petitioner filed an application for expeditious disposal of Raiganj P.S. Case No. 20 of 2017 dated 4.1.2017 under Sections 302/304 of the Indian Penal Code corresponding to GR Case No. 48 of 2017 (SC Case No. 275 of 2019) pending before the learned Sessions Judge, Uttar Dinajpur.

The matter is pending since 2020.

Almost 3 years have been elapsed but only six witnesses have been examined.

Accordingly, this case being CRR 520 of 2020 is, thus, disposed of with a direction for expeditious disposal of SC

Case No. 275/2019 by the learned Sessions Judge. The Ld. Sessions Judge is directed to endeavour to expedite and conclude the trial on its own logical conclusion within one year from the date of communication of this order.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the learned trial Court for information.

Urgent xerox certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned advocate for the parties on usual undertakings.
