Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is languishing in jail for 422 days. He draws the attention of the Court to the injury report of the victim. Learned advocate appearing for the State relies on the injury report of the victim and also the contents in the case diary.

In earlier order of rejection dated July 28, 2021, the medical examination report of the victim was considered. After consideration of the injury report, the prayer for bail was rejected.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the fact that there is hardly any material change in circumstances subsequent to the earlier order of rejection, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

In such circumstances, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (DB) 570 of 2022 is dismissed.
