Considering the nature of crime alleged to have been committed by the petitioner which appears to be grave and serious in nature and the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged offence as well as the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure which implicates the petitioner, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. All parties shall act on the server copy of the order. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.) (Soumen Sen, J.)
