Petitioner is aggrieved as he is being threatened by the private respondents. The issue is over custody of child.

Learned advocate for the State submits earlier a criminal case was registered being Goghat PS Case No. 496 of 2024. Charge sheet has already been submitted in connection with the said case under the relevant provisions of BNS and the Dowry Prohibition Act. The issue regarding custody do not call for interference of the police authorities. So far as the said issue is concerned, the petitioner and the respondents would approach the jurisdictional civil court. Petitioner has expressed

anxiety. So far as harassment and threats are concerned, if specific instances are brought to the notice of the police authorities, they would ensure that there is no violation of law and order.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 3637 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to both the parties.
