IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA

CONSTITUTIONAL WRIT JURISDICTION APPELLATE SIDE WPA 2722 of 2020 With CAN 1 of 2021 Narayan Chandra Das & Ors.

Vs.

Union of India & Anr.

Mr. Krishnundu Banerjee, Mr. Md. Idrish .... For the petitioners.

Mr. Indrajeet Dasgupta, Mr. Sourav Mondal ... For the respondent no.1.

Ms. Debjani Mitra ... For the respondent no.2 After hearing the parties and considering the materials on record, I find that this Court lacks in jurisdiction to entertain a writ petition regarding the claims made by the petitioners, being the subject matter of the writ petition.

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

The dismissal of the writ petition will not prevent the petitioners from making the selfsame claim in accordance with law before any other forum or before any competent authority, if the petitioners are otherwise entitled to do so.

Since the main writ petition is disposed of, the connected application, being CAN 1 of 2021 is also

disposed of without any further order.
