It is the grievance of the petitioner that police has implicated the petitioner in several cases one after another and he has asked the police authority to furnish him the list of cases in which he has been implicated but it has not been provided. Mr. Amitesh Banerjee, learned senior counsel appearing for the state opposes the writ petition.

The writ Court is not the appropriate forum for giving the petitioner such relief by asking the police authority to furnish him the number of cases in which he has been implicated.

Considering the submission of the petitioner,I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition. The writ petition is dismissed.

However, dismissal of this writ petition will not prevent the petitioner to avail any remedy before any authority if available to him under the law.

WPA 2729 of 2020 is dismissed.
