1. Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioners is taken on record.

2. The petitioners allege that the private respondent is unauthorisedly running the brick field. In this regard, representation dated 16th January, 2025, was given but no action has been taken pursuant to such representation. Since the private respondent is not appearing despite service of notice and the writ petition is being disposed of without calling for affidavit, the merit of the allegations made by the writ petitioner in representation as well as in the writ petition are not gone into and suffice to direct the respondent No.3, District Land & Land Reforms Officer, Murshidabad, to conduct a surprise inspection of the area and if any illegality is found to be done by the 7th respondent, appropriate action be taken in accordance with law. This direction be complied with within four weeks from the date of receipt of server copy of this order.

3. With the aforesaid direction the writ petition is disposed of.
