The State of West Bengal Mr. Imran Ali Ms. Debjani Sahu .....for the State The present revisional application has been preferred against the proceeding arising out of Bagnan Police Station Case No.48 of 2009 dated 17.02.2009 (G.R. No.181/2009) under Section 409 of the Indian Penal Code and added Sections 467/ 468/471 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 7(I)(a) (ii) of X/55 of the Essential Commodities Act.
I find that the revisional was preferred in the year 2014 when it was directed that the matter would appear under the heading "Contested Application". There was interim order restraining the proceedings before the Learned Court below. No information has been furnished to this Court regarding the stage of the proceedings and the subject-matter of the case at the relevant stage when this Court was approached was when the charge-sheet was submitted before the Jurisdictional Court. None of the documents under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure have been enclosed alongwith revisional application for assessment of this Court regarding the merits of the case or the proceedings. As such, no interference is called for.
Consequently, CRR 157 of 2014 is dismissed.
All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
