IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA

Item No.31 CRIMINAL REVISIONAL JURISDICTION Ct.No.34 dc.

C.R.R. 159 of 2014 Somenath Paul versus Smt. Jayashree Basu & Anr.

In Re: An Application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India.

This revisional application has been preferred challenging the order dated 26.11.2013 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, 3rd Court, Hooghly in Criminal Motion No. 225/2012. The subject matter of this revisional application before the sessions court relates to the order dated 22.05.2012 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Court, Hooghly in connection with C.R. No. 231/2009. The learned Magistrate by his order dated 22.05.2012 directed the petitioner herein to produce the original copy of the agreement between Jayasree Basu (opposite party no.1 herein) and the present petitioner. The petitioner herein being aggrieved approached the learned sessions court and the learned sessions court on appreciation of the materials and the legality of the order passed by the learned Magistrate was pleased to refuse the prayer advanced by the petitioner. The present revisional application was thereafter preferred before this Hon'ble Court.

Having regard to the reasons so assigned by the learned sessions court while exercising its jurisdiction, I am

of the opinion that no interference is called for as the order under challenge was a well reasoned order.

Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 159 of 2014 is dismissed.

Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.

All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
